From This Fire is a Hard Rock band with a metal-edge from the Tampa Bay Area. FTF has a broad sound that uses guitar riffage along with a deep filling sound of modern melodic rock. Great musicianship and a high energy is what FTF brings to their recordings and especially their live shows!

Biography

From This Fire is a hard rock/alternative metal band based in the Tampa Bay Area. Merging heavy guitar riffs with open melodic choruses, FTF joins Metallica with Breaking Benjamin, all the while burning with the embers of Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine. They bring a highly energetic vibe that speaks swagger and attitude in the music. And while they're the type of band that won't shy away from laying their hearts and experiences on the line, their affable personas will have the entire venue engaged.

The band has performed with acts such as Candlebox, Sick Puppies, HURT, Adalitas Way, Framing Hanley.

The band isn't afraid of using their brutal honesty to get their point across. Their live shows are the very thing they use deliver their fiery vision. Passion breeds passion. Excitement begets excitement. This is no more evident in seeing the foursome perform.
You can get the CD. You can get the shirt, wear it proudly. But to see the band live is to believe once you believe; you will finally know what comes From This Fire

Lyrics

You Never Know

Written By: Drew Bell

Every single day you feel the crushing emptiness,
Your sick of everyone's self-righteousness
And you hate what you've become, wishing you could be someone else...

You never know
the love that waits for you, the one that loves you so.
You never know
the love that waits for you, oh ohhh - you never know.

You feel the world turn away, from who you really are,
The loneliness is killing you and your drifting too far,
And you hate what you've become, wishing you could be someone else...

You never know
the love that waits for you, the one that loves you so.
You never know
the love that waits for you, the grace he has to show - you never know.

When will you know?

"Oh save me tonight!" You cry,
Cause this life isn't worth it.
Rescue me from myself, I can't take this anymore!

You never know
the love that waits for you, the one that loves you so.
You never know
the love that waits for you, the grace he has to show..

You never know
the love that waits for you, the one that loves you so.
You never know
the love that waits for you, the grace he has to show - you never know.

Days Go By

The Serenade [EP]

How do I reconcile this pain inside that I've caused you?
How can I justify this empty life I thought was true?

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions
I believe I failed to mention that...

Days go by
We're side by side
I'm cold and pale and we're drifting apart
As days go by

My black-toothed grin and bloodshot eyes
Hide the hurt that I keep contained
One little sin, and then I say
Say I'm fine and doing well

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions
I believe I failed to mention that...

Days go by
We're side by side
I'm cold and pale and we're drifting apart
When days go by
Into the past
Can we make this last?
Will I break your heart?
When days go...

Shattered the window
Break the wall
Never give up or take the fall
Through seasons of life and season of death
Feel the fire begin to spread
Watch the fire start to spread throughout my veins
Burning me up and taking away all my pain

Days go by
We're side by side
I'm cold and pale and we're drifting apart
When days go by
Into the past
Can we make this last?
Will I break your heart?
When days go... Days Go By

Set List

Depends on set time.
Typical 45 mins will be about 6-8 songs including both original rock music as well as a cover or 2. We can do anything from a small 2-4 person acoustic set to big stage all out rock/metal shows. Our music is flexible enough to play 'softer' rock, or we can hang with the metal heads. Which ever works best to connect with the audience we're performing for as well as mesh stylistically with the other bands at the show.
