Bio
Front Toward Enemy (FTE) out of Portland, OR, was originally formed by Justin Goddard (drums) and Nick Michael (lead guitar) in 2006. Formerly known as "Supervillain," the two played with various musicians, and did not officially become a three-piece until recruiting Goddard's ex-band mate Nick Anthony (bass/lead vocals).
The three piece began writing fervently for six months, and put on their first show. Despite a somewhat rocky performance, the three persisted, began recording their first album, and changed their name to Front Toward Enemy. With a fresh face, the trio desired a heavier, rounder sound that can only be achieved with a second guitarist. Hesitantly, they searched for a fourth player, and recruited Cory Vanagas (rhythm guitar) in November 2008.
FTE continues to write new music, and is currently in the process of recording their first album, "Facing the Dragon."
