The best kept secret in music
Press
This Cincinnati trio conjures up nostalgia for 1980's post-punk favorites. " Let me Know" begins with precise percussion and haunting vocals, as front man Eric Bates croons, " I'm lost in the shadow of you," sounding like Echo & the Bunnymen's Ian McCulloch incarnate. "Goodnight" is a vocal mesh of The Misfits' Danzig and Morrissey's Bona Drag. The closing "Under the Moss" sounds like The Smithereens with traces of Morrissey's legendary vocalization and repetitive lyrical genius. Fillmore's Therapy proves this three-piece is disciplined yet not entirely predictable, while conveying a definite sense of musical maturity---with the occasional tip of the hat to Bates' influences. - Big Takeover Magazine
