"Full Caliber"

Full Caliber, much like their music, requires no fancy introduction. With a dueling guitar sound and old fashioned rock-rooted vocals, these four guys are trying to re-instill something that rock music has lost – fun.

Recalling a sound lost years ago, Full Caliber rekindles rock music of the 70s & 80s, much in the vain of Kiss, CCR, ZZ Top and Ac/Dc. Through larger than life, monumental guitar work, mixed with hard-nosed, straight to the point vocals, Full Caliber creates a stripped down, no-frills sound, much like the arena rock of yesteryear. The bass is poignant and steady, while the drums are hard hitting, with a lot of crashing and huge sounding tom roll fills.

As much as you can say that these guys are a transplant from the early years of rock, Full Caliber has a lot of modern day subtleties to it. You can sense an air or late night boozing, bar hopping and plain old fun in their blazing, duel guitar solos and big time drumming. Pulling elements from modern day rock revivalists the Darkness, Silvertide, Dirty Rig and Black Label Society, Full Caliber blends a modern day rock feel with big guitars and even bigger vocals.

Full Caliber could be the band you’ll catch on a Friday night at your local watering hole, or they could be the next band you see on a huge rock tour.

Fans of serious and 100% true rock and roll music take heed.

Bio

"It's all about the Rock n' Roll" as far as Full Caliber is concerned. Influenced by the likes of AC/DC, Sammy Hagar, Def Leppard & Billy Squier (to name a few) - when Full Caliber cranks it up it's easy to hear that Rock is still very much alive. "Our number one goal is to get your feet stomping, fingers snapping... and ultimately to see people with their fists raised in the air."

Full Caliber's two guitar attack falls upon the shoulders of Jake Cravotta & Marc Edwards, so there is never a shortage of hook laden riffs and flavorful solos. While Jake leans more towards the bluesy side of his Gibson SG, Marc takes the "in your face" approach as he tears into his guitar and refuses to let up. The audience gets a double dose as they constantly trade solos, often times during the same song. Donny Samuels lays down the rhythm with his hard rock beats, while Kevin Waggoner drives the bass line. All the while Jake is lending his voice to the music, full of catchy melodies, emotion & power, his vocals add even more depth to the Rock n' Roll.
