Bio

"Full Moon Circle" started out as the band "Year and a Day" in 2000. In 2003 they performed in the New York Music Festival winning the "Best Nu Rock" band title. They released a self titled CD in March of 2004 in front of 235 people at the Starrhill Music Hall in Charlottesville Virginia. In the summer of 2005 they toured in California opening at the 14th Below club in San Monica, headlining at the Roxy in West Hollywood and opened for Steven Pearcy of Ratt at Paladino's in Tarzana California.
When they returned from the mini-tour they realized that they needed to change names and gears to grow musically (not to mention that the band was in litigation with another band of the same name, but lets not OPEN that can of worms shall we..?).
In November of 2005 "Full Moon Circle" was born. The sound is stronger, the songs more powerful and the attitude..DRIVEN!!!!
Since the name change they've performed in Richmond and Roanoke Virginia, Orlando and Gainesville Florida. With the release of an EP titled "One Right Way" in March of 2007 Full Moon Circle is figuring out the "right way" to get noticed, perform better and be recognized as an up and coming rock band.

Justin Collins, Singer, writer and poet in his own right, pens the words that fit the feel and drive of the music. Sings the words to convey the emotion each song was written with.

Clanton May, his hands and feet have a wonderful understanding..to be as rhythmic and powerful as they can be, holding the drive of the song steady..

Bob DiGregory, his Bass playing is ..uh..unique to say the least. Playing lead guitar was a passion, but the bass showed him the way to CONTROLLED EMBELISHMENT..

The bands influences are many, from Nirvanna, Led Zeppelin, and Dream Theater to Metallica, Kings X and Godsmack..

Our sound is unique but recognized by all..from tempo changes to dynamics, we try to give the listener several different emotional inspirations just from one song.
