Biography

In a world of style over substance: poster boy band, heartfelt lyrics and powerful rock performances are what make Fully Loaded stand out. Fully Loaded bring a no bullshit mix of straight up rock and roll and cutting lyrical content to a starving Canadian rock scene.

Immerging from the suburban streets of south Vancouver, Fully Loaded was originally formed by Mike and Andrew Twining. Lead singer/guitarist Mike, gained experience and confidence as the front man of the punk band ‘the Burnouts’ while brother and lead guitarist Andrew mastered his riffs and chops on his ratty six string. Together, the Twining brothers wrote an array of songs before calling upon the strengths of long time friend and bassist Chris Ball. Fully Loaded then proceeded to irrupt into a high energy, power driven rock and roll band.

In the summer of 2005 Fully Loaded was discovered by legendary bass player Tom MacDonald (Hedley, Jar, Flybanger), who the band enlisted to produce their debut EP. Recorded at Vancouver’s finest establishments, the Armoury and Mushroom Studios, the band released what would be a solid heavy hitting record, with ripping guitars, pounding drums and chorus driven vocals.

With their live experience and plenty of new material to lean on, Fully Loaded is ready to smash Vancouver BC and bring their busted out rock music to whomever is ready to listen. Fans have likened Fully Loaded’s sound to bands like Green Day, Foo Fighters and Jet, while still showcasing a fresh, original sound of their own. Fully Loaded take a direct approach to their music that leaves out useless filler and sticks to a sharp, stripped down sound that embraces a time-honored rock and roll ideology
