With haunting vocals and eerie acoustic riffs, Overgrown takes a deeper look at the traditional folk scene. When they met in Woodward, Oklahoma they were little more than high school acquaintances, hallway passers-by. They found a mutual interest in music and singing, and a connection was born. They decided to make it official when they met back up in college.
From there, at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, they began their journey chasing muses and setting out to redefine the local music scene. After the release of their self-produced debut EP, Deep Waters, the hustle really began. Among self promotion, connecting with the music scene, and improving their live shows, they began work on a full length, pressing the bar ever higher and working to set their music in proverbial stone.
