FunkWarez (Aka Terry Laird and DJ Pascal R)
Terry Laird started mixing at 16 years old at “Palace”, the mythic Parisian dancefloor. He worked with Shazz on “Mark Clement” project, AlexKid (F Com) on “Malt” (Happy Music), Tidalwave on Rue du Louvre label and St Germain. He is touring as DJ with live sax, guitar and percussions which makes his sound unique and fresh.
DJ Pascal R started DJing at Batcave and Punk in 1981 until he discovered acid house in 1987. He quickly became resident at Rex and Radio FG before signing IMPULSION on Loaded Records and S.m.a.l.l./Sony. He also worked on Rue du Louvre and Wall of Sound while mixing internationally, mainly in the UK rockin’ that house music !
Funk Warez is releasing its third LP. The first 2 releases were positively welcome ( “Andy Cato [Groove Armada] “It seems that French house people are back in the loop...”, Funk D’ Void “fantastic”, 3 beats “amazing funk injected House”..).
