Funky Monkey features the songs of Rob, Chris, and John, as well as a blend of tasty covers.

Rob Dasaro has been playing and studying music for twenty five years from jam bands to Broadway musicals, he loves it all. Sharing time in both Vermont and Colorado he has had the opportunity to play some fun shows, record discs, and collaborate with multiple artists of different calibers. Even with all this experience under his belt Rob feels like he's just getting started.

John Carlin has been playing and studying music for over twenty five years. John has shared time in New England and in the Rockies. He and Rob have formed two bands together, the "Joneses" and "Seventh Hour". John is trained on trombone and guitar and is a certified pro tools technician. His creative song writing style explores tempo changes and strong melodic grooves. Matched with his detailed arrangements of covers, John is a strong link in any band.

Chris Harrison began playing music at the age of 11 when he started studying saxophone. He continued his studies through college and graduated with honors in 1996 with a degree in Music Education from Illinois State University. From that time on Chris has been all about the Rock n’ Roll. After moving to Colorado, Chris became a familiar voice at several ski resorts entertaining people as a solo artist playing guitar and singing. In 2002, he shifted his focus and began playing with bands in the Roaring Fork Valley where he presently resides. Whether he is playing the saxophone, guitar, bass, or singing, Chris is always a powerful force on stage.

Mike Prosser picked up his first pair of drumsticks in 1987, at the age of 13. After high school in southern Arizona, Mike traveled the world with the U.S. Coast Guard and had the opportunity to play music in some unusual places, including Antarctica. After moving to Colorado with his wife, Mike joined up with Seventh Hour but it was short lived as he was called back to the military. Upon his return, he was able to make a reappearance with Rob & John, and things have been going great ever since.
