"Interview with Fur Elise"

"In a world of uptight, overbearing assholes who gloat about themselves and everything they do including every meaningless breath they take, it’s so refreshing to come across a band that doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Now when I saw they don’t take themselves seriously, it doesn’t mean they don’t take their music seriously, because they don’t have to. This band’s music is so stellar and eclectic that it needs no ego to boost its self confidence. It simply resonates layers of musical bliss and karate chops your eardrum, but you always come back asking for more. The band is Fur Elise out of Savannah, Georgia and if you’re down with good music and a good time, this is the band for you." -Aaron Manogue - Hard-Rock-Reviews

Bio

Fur Elise started as an idea of music that was pure, simple, aggressive, and as honest as possible. They are climbing walls and making fans and friends everywhere they go. Today the band exists as John Christopher (vocals, Guitar, piano), Michelle Anthony (drums), and David Tingler (bass). The band formed in early 2009 and started writing their first full length album. For eight months the band worked endearingly to complete their freshman attempt, and in 2010 went into The Soundbarn Studios with producer John Harrel (Belson, Sent by Ravens, Divided by Friday, Set Apart) to start recording, with some help on vocal production by Sent by Ravens frontman Zach Riner. After recording Fur Elise teamed up with Laurie Shipley as the main album art, and merch art designer. From there Fur Elise released their first album in 2010 and has been playing shows relentlessly to promote, and to and spread the word that "rock" is not dead yet. They look forward to a long and successful career in the rock music industry. Love them, or get the hell out of their way.
