Fury of the Fist shredded the SOUTH with four visits to Milwaukee, they've cleaned up the WEST as far out as Fingal, North Dakota. The F.O.T.F. has traveled EAST to perform in Oshkosh,Wi. And now the "Fury of the Fist" has heard the call from the NORTH and it will be answered.
2010 was a break out year for Fury of the Fist. It began by being named the Lacrosse, "Northside Oasis" Battle of the Bands Champion on May 22nd and it has been a whirlwind of success ever since. The F.O.T.F has rocked the Midwest's premiere venues from Paperfest in Appleton to "The Rock" Minneapolis.
The Homegrown Metal Rock Band has played to the "Bullet for My Valentine", "As I Lie Dying", Zakk Wylde's "Black Label Society" and "Hellyeah" audiences at the Rave in Milwaukee. They came home to claim the top spot in July at Gadstock in Medford Wi., as it was the momentum builder that propelled the band to their most recent success at the Fingal Roadhouse 2010 Battle of the Bands, Fingal N.D., earning top honors over 20 other bands and the the $5,000 Grand Prize.
The talented and versatile "Noodles" Nic Hamm, Medford Wi., introduced the Fury of the Fist to a new, "Over-the-Top", vocal explosion at lead. He has welded his bold on-stage presence with the bands cutting edge "Homegrown" Metal sound. The low notes are fingered by the bottom end specialists, bass extrodinaire, "Zac" Zeitler, Owen Wi. Beating on the "Skins", long time leader, Mike Latsch, Medford Wi., controls the rhythm section from the back row on the drums. The explosive lead Guitar, back-up vocals and the very soul of Fury of the Fist's sound, is the responsibility of Erik Ackerman, Withee Wi. The Fury of the Fist experience has been honed and refined by years of touring the local clubs, bars, and taverns of Central Wisconsin.
