Fuschi3

Fuschi3 is a well established funky blues trio that sees the collaboration of: Paolo Fuschi (guitar and vocals), Dave Lloyd (bass and backing vocals), Rick Hughes (drums and percussion). This Italian-British ensemble started in 2007 and since then the band has regularly played in music venues around the country, recorded an EP and performed in festivals such as the Dundee Blues Bonanza 2008 and Radio Shows such as Lancashire Blue Notes hosted by Nick Dow on BBC Radio Lancashire. In August 2009 Fuschi3 have successfully headlined the British Stage of Colne Blues Festival 2009 and the show has been transmitted live on air by BBC Radio Lancashire (http://www.bluesfestival.co.uk/british.html ). In November 2009 Fuschi3 supported T-REX in Wigan. Fuschi3 are strongly influenced by the Delta, Chicago and British Blues as well as Funk and Jazz tradition. Their repertoire is based on original compositions and fresh arrangements of blues standards. Paolo Fuschi’s guitar style explores a rich range of musical diversity, combining a strong blues feel with a jazzy melodic and harmonic approach. Rick Hughes and Dave Lloyd are able to create the perfect rhythmic pattern for each number, proving an incredible sense of versatility and sophisticated musicality.
