Bio
Fusion, a Top 40 variety cover band, was formed in April 2005 by bass player/leader/manager George Furukawa. The band has evolved into its current blend of musicians. Fusion is a vocally-driven band with roots in diverse musical influences from classic rock to contemporary R&B/rock/pop.
Fusion consists of up to three front line lead vocalists (one male and two females) supported by a four piece rhythm section (guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums). Fusion’s three front line lead vocalists are youthful, dynamic performers.
Fusion plays something for everyone – including rock, neo-soul, R&B, easy listening, disco, and Top 40. Fusion tailors its play list to fit a variety of events, including birthday parties, retirement parties, graduation parties, corporate banquets, reunion parties, weddings, wedding anniversaries, and so forth.
Fusion is open to learning songs upon request, if provided with advance notice. Fusion also dresses appropriately for all shows and has a no drugs/alcohol policy before and during rehearsals and bookings.
