Probably the best band that I saw her live this year. FusionCore from Brasov, Exceptional! FusionCore can be defined as a nu-jazz band, which gathers many musical genres from jazz to funk, bossa nova, progressive rock an even metal. It all started at the end of 2004, when Fritz, Cretzu and Emil (the founding members) begun to play for fun. The name FusionCore came as a result of their different styles of composing music. Next step was to find a vocal leader, but at that time, nobody seemed fit for this role, so the guys continued this musical project in the same formula as they started. Their first concert also represented the confirmation that the band has good chances to enter the musical market without problems. In 2005 the band performed as opening act for few Romanian bands as ‘Omul cu Sobolani’ and ‘Luna Amara’. 2006 announced an important change for the band, which finally found a vocal leader (Anca Bradean):”I saw them in few concerts and I loved their music, it was exactly what I was looking for”. From this moment FusionCore’s music begins to diversificate more and more. In march, the band wins the competition Manifest Yourself organized by Sunete Magazine, performing in Fire Club (Bucharest). After the contest the band gains , little by little, the appreciation of few Romanian musicians and not only. Also few event organizers invite them to perform on several scenes such as: Coke Live and Stufstock. Now the band prepares the debut album which could be launched this year
