Fusion Factory, featuring Grant Ferguson, is the latest manifestation of his musical dexterity. There’s jazz-rock fusion at the heart of the group’s approach, but the wide range of material takes Fusion Factory into an impressive array of different styles and moods, from a Jeff Beck rendering of Stevie Wonder to the modern jazz of Herbie Hancock or blues-based Hendrix classics.
Ferguson brings the same superb taste and virtuosity to his solo gigs, be they acoustic or electric. He honed his chops at the Atlanta Institute of Music, exploring ways to integrate more jazz concepts into his traditional rock and blues roots. Grant is also the founder and director of Rock Boot Camp®, which brings one-of-a-kind musical experiences to workshops for kids as well as team-building experiences for corporations.
There’s nothing like great guitar sounds, and now there’s a new star on the horizon.
