Feeling a bit camera shy

rare "Triple Threat"...As a Producer, Songwriter and Recording Artist.  Before he was able to drive, BenOne was

already a recording artist who had sold 325,000 units with a hit single on the Billboard Top 100 Charts as a member of the group “Strong”. Born and Raised on the South Side of Chicago, BenOne's love of music began at the age of 2, as he’d listen to the tunes his stepfather had created for the late blues legend Tyrone Davis. For Ben, music was his therapy, “The more I did it, the better I got at it,” BenOne states.  At the tender age of 12, BenOne co-wrote the single, “I Can’t Hide”, under his first record deal with Un-D-Nyable Records (owned by White Sox Hall of Famer Frank Thomas).

In 2008, BenOne wrote and recorded “Never Leave My Girl” featuring Def Jam recording artist “Shawnna”.  As a result, he inked a deal with Universal Republic 3 months later, which resulted in another Hit song “My Eyes”!  His new single in 2010 “Beat it Like A Drum” featured “Twista” and various Chicago Artist, including his brother “Dra’Day”.  BenOne recently launched his production company FutureBoy Music Group.  The FutureBoy, BenOne is giving the industry and fans another piece of his Futuristic Sound which contains all original music, written and produced by him with several featured artists on the “Bendamonium” Project, with the lead single “What Cho Name Eeeah”

BenOne has headlined major concerts including B96 Pepsi Bash (with Flo Rida & PitBull), WGCI Big Jam (with T Pain & Keisha Cole), WGCI Block Party (with DLow & Tink) and Power 92 Cricket Jam.  He’s been featured in top industry magazines such as the Source, XXL, & Complex along with TV Shows such as Music Choice and JBTV.  His movie soundtracks include “Eenie Meenie Minie Mo” (The Master of Disguise 2002), ”Shy Guy” (Of Boys & Men, 2008, and “Ooh Wee” (Red All Over, 2017, this movie is set for release January 2019).  Just a few statistics to show Ben One’s growth and fan base:  “Never Leave My Girl” currently at 1,192,422 views on YouTube, “My Eyes” currently at 86,480 views, “Beat It Like A Drum”  & “Get Better” are collectively getting 100,000 views, “Gogo Girl” with Napalm currently at 490,909 views, “What Cho Name Eeeah” currently over 500,000 views and “AYE” with Gentry over 125,000 views.  These are just a few videos on BenOneTV that show & prove BenOne’s credibility along with 10,000,000+ collective YouTube views. During 2015, BenOne joined a movement called IndyLeague.  IndyLeague is a movement, that consists of four established Chitown independent recording artists, song writers and producer.   IndyLeague released their hit single “Bruce Leroy” in September 2015.

As of 2017, BenOne is on fast forward, writing, producing and featuring on several major projects.  He released his first single “Bout That” in April 2018 and is set to release his second single “Bounce That” in December 2018 from his long-anticipated Album, “The Platform” which will be released 1st Quarter of 2019.  This project will showcase BenOne’s versatility and introduce new artists as well as legends that represent Chitown.  “The Platform” is an outlet for Singers, Rappers, Song Writers and Producers such as John Blu and Slique Jay Adams, Dat Boy Hot, Rio Dezonero, Jo Jizzle, Tylann Durrett, JB The Philosophy and Eric Brooks.

“I write based on my day-to-day journey and make music that the people can relate to and grow with.  I’m not making music because I’m a great singer - I’m making music to show I’m the complete package, and most importantly, to inspire others.    -BenOne
