If chillwave is the summer beach music of the modern generation, Futurematic represents the cooler months. Known and sought after around the Orlando area for his ability to mix and produce songs into cleaner, frostier versions, he decided to branch out and create his own original material - his first solo project is entitled Railways, and is intended to convey the sensation of train rides through Europe in winter and early spring, a perfect showcase for his clean, mellow, chilled out style.
Put simply, Futurematic is both a producer and a concept - the concept of what the cold sounds like.
