Bio

Marques Stevens was born San Antonio Texas, April 23, 1987
Stephan Komora was born Warren Ohio, November 14, 1985

FGS broken down is Futuristic: Mindset, forward movement, letting past go; Ghetto: living arrangements, coming from poverty; Superstars: Success, self love and accomplishment, credibility. Futuristic Ghetto Superstars is the “newness” of the Hip Hop indie artist industry. After many years of artist collaboration & inspiration from Stephan’s past experience, FGS was formed. Stephan & Maestro were introduced through mutual friends by the name of Tommy "Two Handz" Ware and Nick Kelly in February of 2008 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Maestro was currently living in Ohio & working on his debut project with his formal company Hungry & Humble Entertainment, LLC. Stephan was featured on Maestro's first project "Humble Hollywood". Maestro began to produce with Stephan on his debut project "Customer Service" which was never finished or released, but regurgitated through the music of FGS. Their first showcase was at a local bar in Bowling Green called "The Beat" in Oct of 2008. They performed & won the attention of 50+ college students. In 2010 "Humble Hollywood" was released. In 2011 "H&H ON DECK" was a label compilation of artists including both Maestro and Stephan. In 2012 Stephan collaborated on Maestro’s "Only a Matter of Time” compilation demo. FGS is often known for having an artistic orchestral melody approach like Kanye West with "Good Music" & having a unique approach like Tyler The Creator's "Odd Future" when it comes to speaking their mind. Infused with blues, jazz, trance & modern music, FGS is definitely on the rise to Super Stardom.
