Fuzz Manta

FUZZ MANTA is five dedicated musicians united by their tastes and desires in live music. Four of the five members contribute to the songwriting, which makes for a huge variation in the repertoire. Their trademark is the variety within each song. While other bands build their whole existence on one single idea, FUZZ MANTA use several ideas within each song, taking the listener to new and unforeseen places all the time, although always bound together by their heavy sound. Another of FUZZ MANTAs forces is their powerful live act, and what sets them apart from other bands, in addition to their great songs, is the powerful, groovy vocals of Lene, the charismatic female singer. Although a pretty young band, the musicians are 32-36 years old, and have many years of experience from other bands. Influences are wide: Morten listens to everything from Beatles to old school metal, Morgan has a thing for Free, Mountain, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix, Freddy is highly inspired by Ritchie Blackmore, Kiss and Whitesnake, Per is the Tool fan, and Lene the 60's psych freak.
