G a.k.a Freak Unit

Jared Slater known better as his stage name G a.k.a. Freak Unit, is an unsigned  American rapper, songwriter, hustler, and chick magnet from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, The Hill District to be exact.  G a.k.a Freak Unit has created a style of music that relates to the streets and flirts with the ladies enough to appear as if he has telekinesis. His style gives  him an artistic license to create music that relates to the masses which makes expanding and diversifying his fan base to new markets look like a piece of cake.

Jared grew up listening to rap and RnB music. He figured it couldn't be hard to create music and perform it. However, in that process there have been minor set backs related to his focus and dedication to his music.  We all experience obstacles and sometimes we can be our worst critic. For G, it was maturity and growth that has helped him overcome this obstacle by allowing himself and others appreciate his craft. 

G applied himself to become a better rapper and performer by releasing a mixtape entitled  “Long Time No See”, and booking himself for events where he does nothing less than rock the crowd. 

As of now Freak Unit  has been working hard in an effort to develop his brand Team H.U.S.T.L.E. and also develop new original music that relates to his current and future fan base. His new album entitled S.I.B.B.S. (Since I Been Bull Shittin’ ) is project to watch for ; projected to be released in 2017.
