DOMINGO LUNES

Written By: Skip Maisel - G-13

DOMINGO LUNES
(medium tempo, country feel)

HANGIN’ OUT ON A SUNDAY
HOPIN’ I MAKE IT TIL MONDAY
THINGS DON’T ALWAYS SEEM TO GO LIKE THEY SHOULD…

OH I’VE SEEN HOW IT COULD BE
OR MAYBE HOW IT SHOULD BE
I JUST NEED TO STAY OFF THAT OL’ RED WINE…

CAUSE THE SUN IS SHINING
AND THE AIR IS HEATING UP
IT’S ANOTHER DAY PASSIN’ ME BY…

YOU CAN BET THAT WE’LL MAKE IT
NO WE SURE CAN’T FAKE IT
I GUESS IT’S JUST OUR LITTLE NICHE IN TIME…

(JAM-Refrain)

JUST TO WATCH THE SUN GO DOWN,
PASS THAT OL’ RED BOTTLE ROUND,
I SURE WISH THAT WE HAD A LITTLE MORE TIME…

HANGIN’ OUT ON A MONDAY
HOPIN’ I MAKE IT TO SUNDAY
‘CAUSE ALL I’VE GOT LEFT IS LIKE A DIME.

STARIN’ OUT OF MY WINDOW
JUST ENJOYING SOME INDO
SUMMER’S GONE…OH WHERE DID IT GO?

HANGIN’ OUT ON A SUNDAY
HOPIN’ I MAKE IT TO MONDAY
‘CAUSE TONIGHT I’M…WELL I’M FEELIN’ FINE.

JUST WATCHIN’ THE SUNSET
YA KNOW, GETTING’ MY FEET WET
YAH I’VE ALWAYS GOT YOU ON MY MIND ...

YAH I’VE ALWAYS GOT YOU ON MY MIND ... (REPEAT)..

HURRICANE > SAIL AWAY

Written By: Skip Maisel, John Sybert - G-13

HURRICANE:

COLD, DARK AND WINDY
HANGIN’ RIGHT OFF THE COAST
RAIN WAS BLOWIN’
HARD ACROSS MY FACE
LOOKIN’ THROUGH MY WINDOW
THERE’S A STORM COMIN’ AFTER ME

SEE WHERE I WAS GOIN’
I THOUGHT THAT ROAD IT MIGHT BE STRAIGHT
BUT I HAD TO GET THERE
YEAH SOME OF YOU KNOW THAT PLACE
LOOKIN’ THROUGH MY WINDOW
THERE’S A STORM COMIN’ AFTER ME

SEE WHERE I WAS GOIN’
I THOUGHT THAT ROAD IT MIGHT BE STRAIGHT
BUT I HAD TO GET THERE
YEAH SOME OF YOU KNOW THAT PLACE
LOOKIN’ THROUGH MY WINDOW
THERE’S A STORM COMIN’ AFTER ME
>>>>>>>>

SAIL AWAY:

I’M HEADIN’ OUT FOR THE WEEKEND
I’VE SET A COURSE FOR THE SEA
TRYIN’ TO GET BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD
TRYIN’ TO GET BACK TO BEING FREE

AND I’LL SAIL AROUND THE CHESAPEAKE
EVEN IF IT LASTS FOR OVER A WEEK
THEN I’LL TRY TO KISS THE SKY
THEN I’LL SAIL AWAY

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU STARED AT THE CLOUDS?
OR LICKED THE SEABREEZE FROM YOUR LIPS
CAUSE EVERY DAY THE SHORELINE’S BREAKIN’ DOWN
YOU GOTTA PUSH IT TIL THE MAINSAIL RIPS

I’M HEADIN’ OUT FOR THE HORIZON
(WITH) ALL THIS BEAUTY IT’S NOT SURPRISING
AND IN MY QUEST FOR PARADISE
I’M GONNA SAIL AWAY

RIGHT NOW THE SEAS ARE A LITTLE CALM
I GOT TO KEEP ON KEEPIN’ ON
CAUSE EVERY DAY THE SHORLINE’S BREAKIN’ DOWN
I GOT TO KEEP MYSELF UP OFF THE GROUND

I’M ON THE TAIL OF A WHITE WINGED DOVE
MAYBE IT WAS SENT FROM ABOVE
AND IN MY QUEST FOR PARADISE
I’M GONNA SAIL AWAY

SAIL AWAY…. (REPEAT)

STILL DANCIN'!

Written By: John Sybert - G-13

STILL DANCIN’

WOKE UP TODAY
DIDN’T KNOW WHAT HE HAD FOUND
HIS WORLD BEGAN TO CRUMBLE DOWN
VOYAGING NO MORE
ACROSS THE OPEN SKIES
THE SEASON’S WERE CHANGING BEFORE HIS EYES
SO HE HEADED WEST TO SEE WHAT HE COULD SEE
PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON IN HANALEI

IT HIT HIM LIKE A BIG OL’ LIGHTNING BOLT
THAT’S WHEN HE KNEW HE HAD TO GO
THE RICHEST RICH MAN COULD NEVER OBTAIN THIS GOLD
HE CAN ONLY LISTEN TO THE RAINBOW

WHAT WAS LEFT BEHIND, A LEGACY-
THEY’RE STILL DANCIN’ IN NYC.

STILL DANCIN’ (4x)
