Gabe Rola: Singer/songwriter Gabe Rola is celebrating the release of his new CD, "A Couple More Rounds," at 8 p.m. Saturday at Full Circle Brewing Co., 620 F St. Fellow Steel Records artist Kellie Lee is on the bill, as is Dog Ear Jones. Gabe Rola has been writing music and playing guitar/singing in the central California area since he was a boy. His honest, rich, and emotional sound is unique and refreshing in the modern world of over-processed sounds and cookie-cutter songs. Gabe's music is a real look into a real person's heart and soul. It's not too often an artist connects so directly to his audience with his sound, but Gabe does just that. Lyrically, Gabe's songs illustrate stores in a way that makes it easy to daydream and live the story like it is your own. Altogether Rola provides an eclectic blend of rich music accompanied by lyrics that truly paint a picture for the listener.
