My music helps me express things that I get too choked up to speak about. My music is not thought through or censored, it's pure and straight from the heart. It's a mix between straight Americana folk, alternative piano pop and sugary rock-reggae. My lyrics always stem from experiences that move me.

Biography

I'm a seventeen year old Mexican-American singer/songwriter from suburbia of Chicago. I'm a senior in high school, and dead set on pursuing performance for the rest of my life. I am influenced by musicians in all sorts of realms of music, from Etta James to Bob Dylan, Adele to Amos Lee, Anthony Green to Avicii. Listening to musical storytellers like Sara Bareilles truly inspires me, and I draw inspiration from deep-rooted appreciation for the music of my childhood: Celia Cruz, the Gipsy Kings and Tito Puente. My music is different because I write to heal. To heal my own wounds, and to heal others' too. I write to release and express the things I can't seem to form into complete sentences. I've been a musical aficionado since I began taking violin lessons at age three, and since then, I've added piano and guitar to my repertoire and of course, singing. There's no way I'll ever be able to keep from singing and sharing my music, and I hope that the road I'm on right now will allow me to share my stories with the world.
