La musica ha sido un elemento importante en la vida del cantautor Gabkas desde que nacio.
De pequeno crecia escuchando las canciones tradicionales del destacado grupo puertorriqueno Los Hispanos en el cual su padre Norman Casiano, participaba como una de las primeras voces.
"Por eso siempre digo que la musica ha estado en mi vida, pero no fue hasta el ano 93 que comenzo mi carrera formalmente", expresa Gabkas.
Durante la decada de los 90 el cantante logra destacarse en la escena de rock en Puerto Rico al trabajar con destacadas bandas como Rucco Gandia y su Radio Pirata.
"Durante esa etapa abrimos conciertos para Jarabe de Palo, Circo, Cristian Castro y otros grupos. Fueron momentos excelentes", aseguro.
A pesar de que contaba con reconocimiento y una trayectoria, en el 2003 este joven musico decidio mudarse a Florida Central en busca de estabilidad personal y nuevos retos profesionales.
"He logrado algunas cosas, pero en esta zona aun falta mucho por hacer, particularmente con la escena del rock", destaco.
Actualmente, Gabriel Casiano, verdadero nombre del musico promociona su disco "Organico", donde asegura pudo plasmar su personalidad en las canciones.
En este disco conto con Rucco Gandia como musico invitado en tres temas y Michael Sweet de la popular banda Stryper en dos canciones.
"Es un disco de rock con letras que cualquier puede identificarse", dijo.
Gabkas, cuenta con una banda compuesta por Joey Julia en la guitarra, Rodney Belber en el bajo, y Alex Merida en la percusion.
Este sabado 10 de noviembre, Gabkas y su banda tendran a cargo la apertura del concierto de Roy Brown y Tito Auger en el Cafe D'Antano, ubicado en el 911 Mills avenue. Informacion (407) 362-0064.
"Estaremos presentando un concierto acústico con las canciones del disco", agregó.
"Solo queremos dar a conocer nuestra musica y que el publico sepa que en Orlando contamos con muchos talentos escondidos.

Born in August 1976 in San Juan Puerto Rico, Gabriel Casiano was destined to be a musician. Growing up in a musical family Gabriel knew was he wanted to be. A singer/composer.
Gabriel has been part of great groups and bands but in 2007 Gabriel embarks to fulfill his dream and become a solo artist. In that same year he releases his first solo project Organico. The album was very well received by the local scene in Orlando Fl, his home town. The critically acclaimed project, that
included guest artists like Rucco Gandia and Michael Sweet from the band STRYPER, took Gabriel in a 2 year long tour across Florida.
In 2010 Gabriel releases his LIVE album DIMELO. Recorded completely live in GRP studios in Orlando Fl, Gabriel captured the energy of a live show with 5 new songs and 5 from his previous album. The single Dimelo surpassed the success of his first album by climbing to the # 2 position in the Clear Channel Top 20 Latin Independent chart and staying there for more than 2 weeks. The DIMELO tour took Gabriel even farther with shows in Florida Puerto Rico and Colombia and to share stage with the biggest names in Latin Music today.
2012 was destined to be the biggest turning point in Gabriels career. In August 2012 he was invited to share stage with legendary Argentinean rock band Los Enanitos Verdes at The House of Blues in
Orlando. The show was a SOLD OUT show and Gabriel had the chance to energize the crowd with his energy and talent in a show that to this day is being talked about in the local scene. The success of that show opened the doors for Gabriel to headline 2 SOLD OUT shows at the House of Blues in Orlando establishing the singer/composer as the #1 Pop/Rock artist in Florida.
Enjoying the success that those 3 shows brought him Gabriel is now ready to release his 3rd album.
Aquella Noche. Gabriel teamed up in Boston Ma with producers Kenny Lewis, that has worked with bands like Stryper, Motley Crue, Ratt, among others and his long time friend and guitarrist NOLO, to put together this album that describe and shows the maturity and were the artist is at this moment in his career. The new single Como is a love song, a quest for just one answer. How? How would we be able to live and go on without that love that give us life.
2013 will be a great year for Gabriel. The composer is getting ready to start a new tour across USA and Latin America... Dont miss it!
