Bio

Born in the small, suburban town of Dauphin, Pennsylvania, Gabrielle learned to channel her creativity at a young age. Beginning with classical piano and violin at ages 3 and 5 respectively, she found a love for singing and song writing in grade school.

Her first experience with a full band came in the form of Ghost in the System, of which she was the lead vocalist and keyboard player, as well as featured strings. When the group realized they were moving in different directions creatively, Gabrielle decided to pack up and move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in music independently.

While in Los Angeles, Gabrielle was approached by magician Chase Curtis and asked to be his lead assistant. Currently working in magic, she has performed on such shows as Fox's "Masters of Illusion" and MTV's "Rob and Big".

When the magic act moved their home base to Dallas, Texas, Gabrielle followed; a decision that would change her musical output forever. It was in Dallas where she met musician/producer/songwriter Salim Nourallah, collaborator and friend.

Combined with Salim's talents and ability to pull things from Gabrielle, the two created an impressive debut record. Utilizing friends from Gabrielle and Salim's vast network, the record features known artists such as Fountains of Wayne/The Posies Brian Young (drums), No Doubt's Steve Bradley (trumpet), Dashboard Confessional's John Lefler (guitar) and The Polyphonic Spree/St. Vincent's Rick Nelson (strings). She also made a live demo consisting of 4 songs in Philadelphia with producers and band, The Cobbs. (http://www.vimeo.com/album/213926/format:video)

Gabrielle is currently in the studio with Salim writing material for her second record. Influenced by everyone from The Beach Boys to Nina Simone, her music is reminiscent of days past, particularly the late 60s/early 70s. She is looking for distribution for her first record and anxiously awaits the next chapter of her career!
