Gaelic Mishap

Gaelic Mishap from Baltimore, MD is definitely not your mothers Irish band. That almost tells you what you need to know about this talented, edgy and dynamic Irish band. Playing a mixture of modern Celtic rock and traditional Irish with a rock style, they get great reviews at every festival and pub that they play. The bands influences vary from Irish, classic rock, alternative rock and punk, to bring together a unique style of their own. Bottom line: if you like rock and you like Celtic music, youre gonna love Gaelic Mishap!

The band consists of 6 members, including both male and female vocals. With varied ages and musical backgrounds, the one thing the band members have in common is their love of all types of Irish music. With several members playing multiple instruments the instruments include fiddle, guitars (acoustic and electric), bass guitar, bodhran, tin whistle, harmonica and drums. Their entertaining and versatile repertoire ranges in style from traditional Irish as played by The Wolftones to Celtic rock such as Flogging Molly. The members have been playing together since 2009.

In addition to performing at the largest pubs in the Baltimore area, Gaelic Mishap was recently featured at the Chesapeake Celtic festival (www.celticfest.net) and has just been invited to perform at the nationally famous 2012 Shamrock Fest www.shamrockfest.com held at RFK stadium in Washington DC.
