Bio

Chad Pabianek and Derek Kemp first began jamming together in the fall of 2011. Interestingly enough, upon their first jam they wrote the song, "Straight For The Sun."

The music the two of them create together doesn't directly correlate with any of their influences interestingly enough. Out of all the songs they have created together, none of them really compare to one another. Some tracks carry a mellow and peaceful vibe, while others may have you bouncing around in a happy fit. Chads primary interest in guitar and secondary being vocals comes in handy considering Derek is the exact opposite, they compliment one another in that regard. Both have managed to develop vocal harmonies on various tracks as well. Musically and lyrically the songs provide a deep level of interest and insight, a pocket of art that is most worthy of shining a light on.

Both members grew up in the small northern mining town of Flin Flon, MB, however niether of them jammed with one another until they were 20 years old.

Though Chad also plays banjo, mandolin, and provides vocals, his strength is within his guitar. Chad started playing guitar in 2004 and has since ventured through a variety of genres. Beginning with classic rock he slowly trudged through various metal genres, and eventually stumbled upon more acoustic oriented music. Chad cites some of his influnces as Opeth, Nirvana, Lenny Breau, Nick Drake, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Neil Young.

Derek plays guitar, sings, writes lyrics, and plays various percussion instruments. Derek began playing guitar and singing around 14 years old, he slowly began to feel his interest lie more within singing. Initially classic rock was his primary interest but slowly delved into more progressive styles as time went on. Derek cites some of his lyrical and vocal influences as Rush, Frank Sinatra, Incubus, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Cage The Elephant, and Led Zeppelin.
