I've been influenced by many great songwriters and singers, but a few definitely stand out in the crowd ... Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley, Sade, Faith Hill & Jack Johnson. I know ~ it's an eclectic mix!! I write lyrics that are believable and with good emotional hooks. I've been told by writing partners that they're ready to go, just waiting for the perfect melodies to complete them! I guess I'm a little like Bernie looking for an Elton!! ;-)
