Galar

Galar (Alexei P. Galar) is a Mexican singer-songwriter, musician and producer. He began his musical career as founder and lead singer of the post-progressive band Hombre Bestia, which were signed to Discos Intolerancia in 2013. Hombre Bestia published two albums, Claroscuro and Janus, which lead to various gigs around Mexico. After no noticeable breaktrough, he went on busking around Mexico and Germany, after which he left the band in early 2017. Galar started the recording of Pretty Little Things That Fly Away, his first solo work, by mid-2017. PLTTFA consists of three EPs the compile two years of songwriting. The album is a mixture of pop-rock, with psychodelych Beach Boys like voice harmonies, acoustic guitar and the use of synthetizers. Influenced by acts such as Grizzly Bear, Jeff Buckley and David Sylvian, Galar is currently propoting his first album, found digitaly on Spotify or locally in his gigs.
