“Gamebouy” - was famously handed a chain by The Game at his 2008 performance in Johannesburg, South Africa after he was impressed by his rapping skills live on stage at the event. Gamebouy has since then been taken under the wings of TSOTSI TAAL Productions, represented by Sbu Tshabalala. Sbu has worked with the likes of Teargas, Blk jks and the award winning Bongani Nkwanyana, Infadizle (Skwatta Kamp), Nongoma, Mpho-za, Swiss boy Caesar and Musa Manzini.
Gamebouy has partnered with GA Agencies as a face of FUBU kids, and is currently working on his long awaited untitled debut CD. Despite The Game’s failure to honour his promise of working with him, he has a song dedicated to him titled “Letter to Jayceon”. His management has kept a low profile on his movement and only now they say that they are ready to introduce this gem to the world. A song that is sure to dominate the charts called “Mama” describes the love between a son and his mother, and is set to separate Gamebouy from the pack.. He has recently performed at Bassrootz bassline and the Youth Showcase at OST in Newtown, an event that was organised by Moshito Music Conference & Exhibition. In 2011 he performed at SXSW 2, Texas (USA).
