The Borough of Brooklyn is home to some real game changers when it comes to the genre of Hip Hop. To keep tradition the American Hip Hop collective Gangtivity has been shaking the streets of Flatbush for the past few years killing the underground scene in Brooklyn since 2010. With hit singles such as Out Here, Regardless and Chart Topping featured single “Gangtivity”. The Rap collective “Gangtivity” Bam Vito, Fleego, and Mitch ( a later became a member in 2014) Each Bring a unique touch to the genre. Bam ( the more rugged Rockstar member ) Mitch ( the backpack hipster style guy ) and Fleego ( the flashy smoove guy ) Creating a new sound the New York Music scene hasn’t seen in a while. 

Bam Vito (Left) has always been a talented wordsmith. Vito met Fleego (Middle) around the middle of his career and decided to form “Gangtivity” / GGX movement. Fleego, on the other hand, has always been passionate about music and fashion – we like to say that he puts the wave in Gangtivity. Fleego also serves as the executive/brand ambassador – rather than looking to the industry for help, Fleego research  everything on his own and take business into his own hands for all of us. If there ever were to be a backpack trap rapper, it’d be Mitchleading (Right) – he brings an element of “hippy” rap to the group.

For Gangtivity, it’s not just about creating great music. It’s about curating a positive movement, tying in other upcoming rappers, record producers, tattoo artists, music video directors, and fashion designers who all share similar interests in music, fashion, and art. For us, it’s about creating something that transcends far beyond hit singles – something more like a lifestyle, or positive movement to bring every creative individual together to keep on creating and paving the way for the younger creators to carry on where we left off and be themselves at all times.

Gangtivity stands for “a collective of individuals moving forward as one towards achievement or desire.” Unity and accomplishments are our missions. Our inspiration comes from the neighborhoods we were built in; a place where trouble is around every corner, and you have to find peace in yourself to ignore the temptations. In order to do that, we all find our own unique way to take us away from it by constantly creating and spreading our positive movement; one that the kids around the world who go through the same thing as us can relate to.
