Some call it Cosmic Boogie, others label the sound as Southern Rock, but the high-energy "Ray Charles meets Led Zeppelin" attitude of Garage Deluxe makes it hard for anyone to sit still and not pay attention. Formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, Garage Deluxe hit the ground running to create a style of rock and roll that was heavily influenced by the 1970's and their Southern Rock predecessors yet continued to push the originality envelope. What came about was an extremely large sound that reaches listeners of all ages, keeping the dance floors full and the crowds wanting more.

In early 2006, the debut self-titled album was released followed by a successful reception at the 2006 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, catapulting Garage Deluxe as one of the must see live acts in the Southeast. A sophomore effort, Light Energy, will be released in April of 2008, recorded in Athens, GA at Chase Park Transduction Studios. With Grammy-nominated producer David Barbe (Drive-By Trickers, R.E.M., Bettye Lavette, Son Volt) at the helm, the true organic sound of Garage Deluxe is
beginning to emerge with this release.

Having shared the stage with many including Little Feat, Burning Spear, J. Mascis, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Ivan Neville's Dumpstafunk, Perpetual
Groove, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Codetalkers, and JJ Grey and Mofro. Garage Deluxe's live show has developed into a high-energy testimonial in
which Garage Deluxe's true personality emerges, taking the audience on an emotional roller-coaster ride through elements of rock and roll, the blues,
soul, and country, in a music that has come to be known as Southern Pentecostal Junkyard Boogie. The appeal of Garage Deluxe is very widespread
and ecclectic, reaching those from many generations and backgrounds, whether they be in cowboy boots or barefoot. Come and enjoy the music from a band
as honest as they come.
