Garry Milne is the new sound of Stockport. A solo performing artist & song writer he has the talent of many of the great artists from the North of England. His perfomance at the "Battle of the Bands" this summer was electrifying. He, along with two other solo artists and 3 bands fought it out to the bitter end, where Garry came in 1st place for the best Original Song Catagory with his composition"Questions". Speaking to him after the gig; he said "I was thrilled to win and this will hopefully push me onto bigger and better things". also perfoming were Eskimo Sunshine.... - Stockport Times

Recorded in October of 2007, His acoustic debut "Tracks of my years" shows a man of great talent and songcraft. It features 10 original songs produced by Garry . The track questions was in the semi finals of the u.k songwriting comp 2008

Hailing from manchester, England. Garry has a strong mancunian connection which over the years has produced many influentional artists from oasis to badly drawn boy and the Smiths. He is a singer/songwriter inspired by many bands, from the 60's to modern day. He went solo after 2 years previously playing with the band shock decision regulary performing to packed out audiences in and around the manchester area . In his live performances he shows all his emotion and passion and draws his audience into his anthemic and poetic music.
