Gary Bangs

Born in El Progresso, Yoro, a small city in the Central American country known as Honduras. Raised by a single mother until the age of seven when she decided to marry and move her little family to America. Once settled in America, the diversity of music and culture captivated a young soul. Writing became a passion and a release for a foreigner adjusting to a new language and way of life. Through the teenage years, Hip-Hop played a major role in Gary's life, but something was missing. College was a bust, and home life wasn't so appealing once the troubles of a part-time job holding nineteen year old started to weigh heavy. With not many options left, a move to Central Florida seemed the most logical for a lost soul trying to find himself. Confined in a small room in Florida music became the only outlet. Unfulfilled with the ventures in Hip-Hop the starving musician picked up a guitar. With life looking dim in paradise a "call to arms" was received. At 20 years young the United States Air Force opened new doors to a starved heart. Once established and stable only writing came to mind. Relocated to a small town, a new voice was to embrace the state of Oklahoma.
