“Gary Daniel Cook is one of the most knowledgeable and respected guitarist/clinicians in the MI industry. In addition to having a total command of music and technology, he is any product's most articulate and passionate spokesman, successfully bringing his expertise and powers of persuasion to any public forum. I have seen him perform in clinics and workshops, where he first delivers a dazzling performance, showcasing a product in its best musical light. He knows products from both sides: as a musician and as a marketer." - Jon Chappell

Bio

Gary's roots are deep in the Southwest and South traditions - from New Mexico, Louisiana and West Texas...his influences are diverse.

Gary's guitar playing crosses multiple genres. From Neil Young style acoustic flatpicking, to Allan Holdsworth fluid lines, to SRV style blues riff and ole' school jazz comping...Gary demonstrates this versatility with a "song first" mentality.

His baritone/tenor voice is soulful with blues-based vocal phrasing.

Gary has worked with a diverse list of artists including Sting, Joni Mitchell, Clint Black, Neal Schon, Mike Elizondo, Scott Reeves, Greg Adams, Igor Len, Andrew Strong and a host of others.

As composer, Gary's music can be heard in radio, television and film worldwide on such shows as Drew Carey Show, ESPN, E, One Life To Live and more.

When he's not writing, recording, or touring...you can find him performing his favorite songs on acoustic guitar at a local hotspot - "for the fun of it!"
