Bio

Ever since I was young I was always singing, whether at work or at play, music was always a part of me. I remember working on the railroad in the mountains one year; another worker and myself each bought a 2 dollar harmonica which we played during down times at work. We would dance around and have a great time. Everybody else thought we were crazy (were they that far off????), but we had a lot of fun
I spent about 20 yrs doing music in church. I became restless and wanted to do more. I began playing at an outreach for a Christian Motorcycle club, and learned non-christian music that I loved. I had a lot of good feedback; and yrs later a friend told me that the president said they had the most people when I was playing. I try to be personal and interact with the people, but most of all have fun. Since then I have played in various clubs and open mic nites, and charitable events

Some of the church music has had an influenc on my style-particularly Jewish folks songs. Also, contemporary Christian artists such as Steve Bell and Third Day.Other influences include Cat Stevens, Moody Blues, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, and top of the list Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, my favourite band of all time.
I produced my album at the request of many friends. Some of the music is about down and out people, and how we can relate to them. I have spent a lot of time volunteering at Soup kitchens and drop-ins, and been able to see beyond the surface to the beauty within each soul.
