Gary Lee Frazier

I started writing songs at the age of 14 , I played guitar and bass in rock bands in the mid 60's. But what I was happiest doing was writing songs and playing them, more so than covering other artists songs. I had some chances at recording in the early 70's but nothing ever came to a sucessful end . So I lived life, married ( still to the same mate) and raised two great boys who love music also and play guitar and drums. But that voice inside never left my hopes and dreams. I kept thinking , some how I would someday be a singer songwriter . Even though I didn't know how it would happen. It just made life easier to think that some one out there in heaven would just snap his fingers and a record producer would appear. In reallity I know this was not going to happen ,but ! I always had a hope way deep down inside a feeling that some thing would take place . Thats when I realized if I don't take a chance the only thing that will happen is I'll just be getting older and filled with regret.It didnt come like a thunder clap instead a little at a time and not easily, I had to do the work and seek out how to start and what to do next. And I prayed !God helps those who help themselves. That's where I am today taking one step in frount of the other , seeking and finding and learning and finding that there is also great joy in the journey!
