Gary Phelan is a guitar and piano playing, singer songwriter from Newcastle who has recently attracted the backing of industry giants EMI label services. His first major single release, 'Burning the Sun', was co'written with Guy Chambers and aired on the new to Q show in 2012,
Gary predominantly writes his own material which reflects on his inner drive and ambition, powerfully remarking on all of the obstacles and challenges such a competitive journey can put in your way. Expect a soulful pop/rock performance from Gary and his band, ranging from acoustic mellow tones to stadium type anthemic tunes.
All involved are excited about the next phase of Gary's journey. Things to come... A fresh batch of newly written songs are to be performed in and around London and recorded and ready for release in 2013. Gary's new EP 'Fireworks' should be ready in the spring time.
