To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing this letter to express my enthusiastic and unqualified endorsement of Gary Sappier’s application for support of his latest artistic endeavour.
I have long been a fan of Gary’s Music, and last fall I had the great pleasure of accompanying him on a tour of Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates. It was during this tour that I got to witness Gary’s considerable talents from a very close vantage point. He was a huge hit with all audiences and consistently demonstrated both very strong musicianship as well as excellent song-writing skills.
Gary’s songs made a very poignant connection with audiences that included not only Canadian troops and civilians, but personnel from around the world, including several Afghan nationals. He managed to reflect our region’s aboriginal culture, while providing a portrait of a mature east coast artist and a citizen of the world. Throughout our three-week tour, he proved himself to be a very capable performer and valuable team player.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to phone me at 506-383-6203. Thank-you for taking the time to read this.
Very Sincerely,
