Gatling (More than Just a Name)
Gatling is comprised of a ensemble cast that total over 30 years of experience in vocalization, pre-production, arranging and engineering projects. This family of professionals origin begin with their discovery of inept talent which led to early training with one the industry’s best vocal coach, writer and arranger who has recently worked with the likes of Diana Ross and Mylie Cyrus. Gatling honed their early experience by becoming members and participants of the nation’s largest musical outlets. This decision was only the beginning of a journey which resulted in success in a number of musical genres (I.E., Gospel, R&B, Pop, Rock, Folk and Jazz). Gatling is known as a unit that is quintessential to the word unique. There are so many talents all of which bringing variegated abilities that expanded session calls to major studios in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey and Maryland. The numerous abilities also allowed the group to be approached by Capitol / EMI to become the production spearhead of a label under their global insignia. Gatling has expanded its talents in jingle advertisement production which has lead to a substantial level of commercial success. Gatling has completed their contribution on a number of major label projects, one A&M project in particular that has recently received a resurgence of success globally considering the original release date was May 1992. Gatling over the past few years, have contributed in a number of compositions for a stage production company that has released and toured from a catalogue of plays specific to socially conscience subject matters. Gatling has worked with a few highly regarded industry producers. In total, Gatling’s musical experience and contribution has totaled the sale of several million recording units and amassed a significant accumulation of industry recording credits. It is until now, Gatling has made the decision to transition from a contributing role to give their expression to the world. I present to you Gatling , “More than just a name”.
