Bio

G-Blaque Growing up in Spring Valley , NY , G-Blaque began rapping in fifth grade using his childhood pains, regrets and abuse to create his raw braggadocio persona. Being inspired by some of hip hops influential stars such as, the late greats, Big Pun and the Notorious BIG as well as the Beatnuts, Jay-Z, Beanie Siegel and Jadakiss, Rapper/Songwriter GATOR-BLAQUE aka G-BLAQUE brings a delivery of word-play and a style that remains concrete in the urban culture. While keeping his focus G-Blaque still involves himself in various activities around the county all the while creating a buzz. The Channel 12 Hudson Valley News interviewed him for his involvement in a song called Hold On about Hurricane Katrina. He has also appeared on radio shows such as 2 Hours of Power hosted by Poughkeepsie’s own Artiste and receives major spins on 96.1 KISS FM in Dutchess County, NY. Winning first place in a Faces In The Crowd Showcase held by All In One Entertainment, G-Blaque showed his astonishing talent by defeating 20 other artists from state to state. He earned himself a consultation with record executives from SRC/Universal, “Gator Blaque has an energetic stage show that exemplifies his artistic form, he has a pulse on what todays hip-hop should look and feel like. Gator reps his state to the fullest and brings New York to the stage every trip.” – J Hatch aka Mogul Status, CEO/Inasirkl Music Group. Taking first place also got him an interview with IB Concept Magazine along with radio interviews with 91.9 FM and Hate Money Radio. “He’s a lot better than some 25 yr olds that walk into the building. His sound is different and hot.” – Jamaal Meeks aka Reality, A&R/SRC/Universal. G-Blaque has also collaborated with Gang Green Entertainment and has been featured on Holiday Havoc and Take A Walk Down Green St., both mixed tapes hosted by DJ Most Wanted. He also has a feature page on Rappersroom.com and will also be making another appearance and perform and the next Faces In The Crowd Showcase. G-Blaque can also be heard on Remy Ma’s dj, DJ Bedtyme357 Mixtapes as well as All Is One Ent., Best of The Best Mixtape and catch him on Hatch DVD Magazine. But if you can’t wait for that album, you can hear a little bit of G-Blaque has to offer to the hip-hop culture Mon-Fri on Power105.1 when Ed Lover hits the airwaves from 2-6. And will soon be heard introducing Ms. April G Lady of Radio on the airwaves. …….I swear on BIG’s rhyme book, I know I’m the truth
