Bio
Nicholas Oshane was born in Princess Margaret Hospital in St Thomas Jamaica on January 3, 1991. From a young age he always took interest in music and the arts. It wasn't until he was about nine years old that he realized his potential. In 2000, his stepfather in New York sent him about 50 different albums as a gift. The album he took a special liking to was R Kelly's “TP-2 RELOADED”. This is where it all began. One night he went to a treat at his church, New Testament church of God in Port Morant, St. Thomas. All the children were being asked to come up and do an item. After the coaxing of his cousins, Nicholas Oshane shyly went up and sang the song “The Storm is Over” from R Kelly's album. When he was finished he was given a standing ovation and asked to sing the song over and over again. It was at that point that he realized the talent he had. Ever since that day Nicholas has worked tirelessly to spread joy to the world through his music.
Now nineteen Nicholas Oshane is a singer, songwriter and composer. He experiments with all types of music. His versatility has allowed him to flourish with RnB and reggae music especially. Oshane does not plan to give up on his dream anytime soon. He will deliver his message of consciousness and positivity to the world. He lives by a simple saying: “life is not about finding shelter from the storm, it's about dancing in the rain”. What that simply means is to accept all that comes your way, deal with it and continue on the path to righteousness. Nicholas Oshane is here to stay.
