Biography

Some would describe G. dot's style of Hip-Hop as remiscent of old-school Hip-Hop, because of his wordplay and delivery. His fans have said that his versatility have made him a standout among other local artists, thus setting the stage for his emergence as a national-level performer. An aspiring Hip-Hop artist out of Fargo, North Dakota, G. Dot is a Nigerian immigrant. Like many immigrants, G. Dot is working hard to succeed.

Originally from Minnesota, it was at the University of Minnesota -- Twin Cities, in which G. dot was enrolled as a student, where G. dot became enthralled with the energetic wordplay and the syncopated beats commonly associated with rap. He began performing at the University as well as at other local venues, where he began to hone his skills. Enjoyed by students and locals alike, G. dot began to build his fan base. In 2008, G. dot released his debut CD, entitled, "We Call Sh!t Da Soda Pop." In 2009, this project was nominated for a Twin Cities Hip-Hop award.

Since relocating to Fargo, North Dakota, G. dot has continued to develop his talents and has created his vision for his style: P.L.A.P. -- Positive Like a Proton. G.dot desires that his music serves as a source of hope and inspiration to his fans.
