G Dot

Gurie Sheffield Jr., better known as "G Dot" was born December 18, 1987 in Dallas Texas. He was brought up
listening to 2Pac, Scarface, Notorious B.I.G., Master P, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, Kris Kross and
DJ Screw. He was inspired by his favorite artist, Eminem, to pursue music the beginning of his high school year.
His first on-stage appearance was 7th grade in a talent show at his middle school. That sparked G Dot to become an
icon on stage and off when it came to his music. Years later, he learned how to become more than a triple
threat in the music business locally. Talents including graphic art designs, video directing & coordinating, sound
engineering, producing as well as being an artist. He has been solo for only a year, and progressed in performances
and invites with major names. As time passed, he has indulged into other genres to broad his musical practices even
more. Doing so, embraces him to become a cross-over artist in the near future. The Dallas, Tx unsigned artist is still
embarking into new business ventures. Music is only surfacing the first step of G Dot’s career phase.
