Bio

Ged began his musical journey in Valencia, Venezuela, where his grandfather introduced him to classical music and the music of the 60’s and 70’s. He started to play guitar when he was 13. Three years later he began to play the piano. He has penned dozens of songs in English, and also many songs in Spanish.

Ged is receiving airplay on FM and internet radio in the U.S.A., the U.K., Venezuela and Japan.

The Music: Ged’s unforgettable songs are getting attention. In 1999, Ged turned down a record deal in Colombia and later moved to the U.S. where he built his own studio and continues to write snappy tunes. In 2004, a CD with some of Ged’s tunes made its way to Ronald Cotton (a long-time Manager from Nashville who has worked with superstars Garth Brooks, George Strait and Reba McEntire, among others). Ron was impressed with Ged’s tunes and almost immediately began managing him, but was not able to continue in the business due to health problems.

Locally: Ged has performed many shows playing only his self penned tunes accompanied by himself on guitar or piano, Christopher DeWitt on bass and Francis Trioli on drums/percussions at The Grape Street Pub, The Tin Angel, North by Northwest, The Raven Lounge, Abilene and Pontiac Grille among other places in the Philadelphia area. Ged is also recording/producing artists in his private studio, and has become well-known and sought out for his recording talents.
