Gene Clark was born in Louisiana and grew up in Houston Texas. Gene moved to Washington State in the late 1980s and has performed in various bands all of which he has dedicated a portion of each show to Willie Nelson. For more than three decades Gene has been a Willie Nelson Tribute Artist.

The Weed be Willie Band is Genes newest musical formation and his only band thus far that is completely dedicated to performing his Willie Nelson Tribute

This "Show Band" is designed to recreate a Willie Nelson concert and the Weed be Willie band members provide a solid foundation for Gene Clark as he represents the legendary Willie Nelson.

Gene Clark & the Weed be Willie Band is now available for booking at Casinos, Corporate Events, Cruise Ships and Festivals.

Gene Clark also performs his Willie Nelson Tribute as a solo acoustic act in smaller venues.
