At a time when pop is being dominated by dance music and fabricated pop stars, Generals & Majors is going to bring raw, ugly, rock n roll crashing back to the charts.

Formed by JG General and Jesse "The General" Jones, who grew up listening to GNR, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Kiss, and The Stooges, Generals & Majors pounds out dark, sleazy, and honest music that espouses the tales of debaucherous nights, the daily grind, and city heartbreak. JG on bass and Jimmy Majors on drums, combine for a limber rhythm section that keeps the music loose and powerful. The dueling guitars of The General and Rich Majors, spit out ferocious riffs and face melting solos that evoke the memory of Joe Perry, Keef, and Slash. The band is rounded out by Derrick "Rat Bite" Karg, whose rock growl makes the songs exactly what they should be - dirty and raw.

The band recently recorded their nine song debut in an abandoned farm this summer in upstate New York. All of the tracks were cut live. The band is already starting to generate serious buzz. Their music is meant to be played on huge stages, but you can see them now while they are still slugging it out night after night in the clubs of NYC.
