Victor Joseph Dugue 3rd is a multi-talented artist going by the stage name of General Vee aka. (GV.). He possesses a cutting edge emcee/singer/songwriting gift. GV fuses an uncontestable hip hop emceeing ability with a bona fide classic R @ B singing style. Hailing from Brownsville in Brooklyn, GV. is undoubtedly prepared to conquer the world whether it's with one of his unique R @ B melodies or one of his multi-dimensional hip-hop songs with a catchy hook. GV has phenomenal writing skills, various emceeing and singing styles, and when they are combined with his commanding stage presence it makes him a musical artist like no other. This alone has inspired him to label himself the "Soul-Emcee, " and deemed by others as "the Definition of Hip Hop Soul" by industry veterans like Bobby Brown, AZ, and Ice- T. Having released his first official LP. during first quarter of 2008 titled "Salute", he has sparked a great response from both industry folk, and the public at large. The CD. is currently being sold over the internet via.! His myspace page ( , (, ( , and ( Songs from CD. are also being played on the internet radio station ( As of April of '08, GV. has been booked to be one of the opening acts for the Mary J. Blige and Jay Z. He is also in negotiations with the great veteran comedian Paul Mooney to be the only musical act on a multi-city comedy tour, spear headed by Mr. Mooney himself. GV. is also working with his team to put together a nationwide club and college tour of his own, in efforts to promote his LP. As a youth, GV. was bred to be a musical star by his father, a New Orleans born musician/singer/song-writer in his own right. His father taught him the art of music at a very young age. GV. went from singing and playing the organ with his father at home to performing for friends and family at events, and inevitably spitting lyrics in emcee ciphers throughout N.Y.C.! He started to record hip-hop songs in profesional studios at the age of 14 where he quickly honed his recording and writing skills. GV. spent most of his earlier years focusing on his emcee talent. After honing those skills, he decided to integrate his natural talent for singing and writing R @ B , which leaves his audience in awe at the fact that he is equally talented in both genres of music. GV. has written and produced tracks for many well known acts like the ever controversial Bobby Brown, Dave Hollister, Carl Thomas, Anthony Hamilton, Ray J. He is featured on a song with rap veteran AZ, on AZ's LP. titled "Final Call", and recorded songs featuring Ice-T , Guru and Smoothe Da Hustler. GV. has perrformed in venues throughout the country like SOB's and Speed in NYC. , Opium and the Hard Rock Cafe in Miami, and the House of Blues in New Orleans and California. In 2006, GV. performed on the New Edition Tour in DC. , Houston and Chicago. With his natural talent, unstoppable drive, and commanding presence, General Vee is destined to be one of the world's most influential entertainers of our time. With this in mind, the world needs to brace itself and be prepared to Salute the General.
