Generation Rx

Our music will speak for itself and we let it take on a life of its own. Today everyone is expected to numb their emotions and conform to a nationality, religion, day-job and chemical imbalance. But there is no normality, no perfection, and there never was. Our inspiration is found in the chaos that is human nature.

After five years of writing songs by herself, singer/guitarist/pianist Diane Douglas found Mike Calabrese - a cellist who had grown tired of just reading someone else's notes on a page. He has never been afraid of distortion pedals and currently plays through three amps, so they have no need for a bass player. The missing element turned out to be our drummer Leo Brayman, who plays a mixture of acoustic and electric drums with hand percussion. Together we found our sound somewhere between the raw power of punk rock (Bad Religion, Voivod) and the complex harmonies of Beethoven and Tool. The lyrics are about shedding light on the things that live unnamed in the dark and dusty corners of every human soul.
