Genia Woods

Genia Woods knew early on that music was innately a part of her make-up. Shaped and inspired by her grandparents, James and Mary Smyre who were known throughout the South for their ten musical children and their soulful vocies. Genia Woods started pursuing her passion in music as a career in 2010. After featuring on some Mix Cd's Genia  released a promotional album titled Genia Woods "Stilettos" in 2011. Stilettos was her hit single in which she performed in venues all over North Carolina. As Genia quickly began to gain recognition for her style and unique character; she sharpened the saw on her other abilities like: entrepreneurship (Genia's Food Delivery Service, LLC started in 2012), acting and writing books. Genia Woods seeks fulfillment as an Artist and Songwriter and will accomplish that by continuing to write from the heart and sing and rap to paint a picture while everything else falls in place.
